LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A man was fatally stabbed early Saturday in east Las Vegas following an argument with his roommate, who was later arrested, police said.

The incident occurred just before 4 a.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of Clifford Avenue near Eastern Avenue and Charleston Boulevard in east Las Vegas.

When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man who had been stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the victim and his roommate, later identified as Christian Bryant, 39, had been arguing before the stabbing. Bryant left the scene and was later taken into custody, police said.

Bryant faces a charge of open murder with a deadly weapon and is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Sunday.
