LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man was found fatally shot in a North Las Vegas apartment complex on Wednesday morning, according to police.
Officers responded to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of East Carey Avenue around 11:45 a.m. and located an unresponsive adult male who had been shot.
Medical personnel responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Bridger Middle School and McCall Elementary School were placed under a brief lockdown following the incident, which lasted only 10 minutes.
Detectives are currently investigating and believe this was an isolated incident.
