LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – After a valley-wide chase for the suspect in a deadly shooting at a North Las Vegas casino, the Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in the killing.
Na’Onche Osborne, 23, suffered from multiple gunshot wounds after the shooting at Aliante Casino on Thursday, according to the coroner’s office. His death was ruled a homicide.
The victim was identified as ex-North Las Vegas mayoral candidate Pat Spearman’s son.
Osborne was involved in a shooting at Spearman’s home in October 2022. According to an arrest report, the victim told police that Osborne was smoking weed in front of a 5-year-old child which led to the confrontation. The victim was stable after the shooting, the arrest report said.
On Thursday, the suspect accused of killing Osborne, 19-year-old Aerion Warmsley, took multiple agencies on a valley-wide chase before he was taken into custody for the shooting. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police said Warmsley committed at least three carjackings during the pursuit.
