LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – FOX5 obtained the arrest report for Cedric Hasan, the man linked to over 30 burglaries in Las Vegas. Hasan was also arrested in early Nov. for allegedly stealing in the north valley.
According to the arrest report, On Sunday, Nov. 10, a North Las Vegas Police Department officer responded to the Tire Work Center near Centennial Parkway.
The business alarm company received a notification that the alarms were powered down, and they heard a lot of banging and rattling.
The alarm company also stated that the business was supposed to be closed that day. When officers arrived, they found an individual described as a short, skinny male wearing dark clothing.
The suspect was seen leaving the business through a broken window.
Police approached the suspect. The suspect ignored the officer’s requests and took off southbound in the parking lot, where he then jumped over a wall behind the business.
Six other officers arrived to assist. One officer witnessed the suspect hopping a fence to a Dollar Self Storage adjacent to the Tire Works.
Meanwhile, North Las Vegas dispatch received multiple 911 calls of a black male in their backyards hopping walls. One caller gave a specific address that police were in front of at the time and spotted a suspect.
This individual was detained but did not have a previous arrest record. He was later released after officers confirmed he was not involved.
While this occurred, another tip was received, which described a black male adult wearing a white shirt and gray pants in their backyard.
Two officers confronted the suspect in the nearby backyard. The individual was later identified as Cedric Hasan.

A homeowner in the Montessa area confirmed that Hasan was running through her backyard and told officers she would press charges.
Hasan was also captured on surveillance video, according to police. He was seen breaking the glass window to gain entry into the business.
The business owner of Tire Works was able to confirm the items that were stolen. Officers reported a total of $17,560 in losses and damages.
According to records, Hasan also had 14 prior arrests for various offenses, including burglary, grand larceny, obstructing a peace officer, and possession of burglary tools, just to name a few.
Hasan was for his second offense of burglary. His first offense was in 2021.
