NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A man was shot and killed at a North Las Vegas business early Saturday morning, marking the second homicide of 2026 for the city.
At 3:08 a.m. on February 1, North Las Vegas Police Department officers were dispatched to a business in the 100 block of East Centennial Parkway in reference to a shooting, with reports of a possible victim.
Arriving officers located an adult male who was suffering from an apparent critical injury. Officers and medical personnel attempted life-saving measures; however, the victim succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
NLVPD detectives and CSI responded and are currently investigating this incident.
