LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man was killed in a south Las Vegas shooting and discovered inside a vehicle on Saturday night.

An officer with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to South Decatur Boulevard and Sobb Avenue after hearing several gunshots around 10:32 p.m.

Officers discovered a vehicle that had collided with a fixed object in the road. Inside was a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man would be transported to a nearby hospital, where he would later die from his injuries.

LVMPD Homicide detectives are leading an investigation into the shooting.
