LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Mohave County Attorney’s Office is investigating the death of a man who was shot and killed by his son.
On July. 25, officers responded to a 911 call at the 4200 block of Bond Street in Kingman, Arizona.
40-year-old Patrick Putnam made the call after he shot his father while working on a rifle in the living room.
Police found 64-year-old Shawn Putnam suffering from a gunshot wound.
The father was taken to Kingman Regional Medical Center.
According to reports, he died at the hospital due to his injuries.
Mohave County Sheriff’s Office Detectives who investigated the scene have turned over the case to the Attorney’s Office.
The Sheriff’s office says Patrick could possibly face criminal charges.
