LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Two Henderson women who met through Facebook Marketplace placed a wreath at Interstate 215 and Gibson to honor 11-year-old Brandon Dominguez-Chavarria, who was shot and killed in a road-rage incident on the 215 last month, police said.

Sarah Holder and Charlotte O’Connor laid the wreath at the site as a gesture of sympathy for the boy and his family. “I just wanted to reach out to show the people that this little boy was cared for, even though I didn’t know him personally,” Holder said.

Police say Dominguez-Chavarria was shot by the driver of another vehicle while both vehicles were on Interstate 215 near Gibson. The women said they believe aggressive driving in the Las Vegas area contributes to incidents like this and should not be happening.
