LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Michele Fiore is suspended as Pahrump’s Justice of the Peace, the Nevada Judicial Discipline Commission ruled.
The decision came Monday. FOX5 learned the commission suspended Fiore with pay.
“A pardon may close a criminal case related to an ethical complaint against a judge, but it does not preclude the Commission from considering a judge’s ongoing conduct as it may relate to the conviction to determine the judge’s potential violation of Revised Nevada Code of Judicial Conduct…” documents say.
The former Las Vegas councilwoman was found guilty of several counts of wire fraud and one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in October 2024.
Fiore collected donations promising to build a police officers’ memorial for Officer Alan Beck and Officer Igor Solodo who were killed in the line of duty. Instead, she was found guilty of pocketing the donations for personal use as well as paying for her daughter’s wedding.
After her conviction, the commission voted to suspend her as justice of the peace without pay. She would be pardoned by President Donald Trump in late April.
