LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police said a motorcyclist died in a crash near Lake Mead early March.
Police said the crash happened Sunday, March 9 at 12:45 p.m. near Northshore Road at mile marker 31. This is south of Valley of Fire State Park and Echo Bay.
The motorcyclist was identified as Sutton Leebron Sterling, 26 of North Las Vegas. He died at the scene.
According to police, he was riding at a speed too fast for conditions. At a curve, he rode off to the right side of the road and hit a highway post sign.
The investigation is being conducted by the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol – Traffic Homicide Unit.
