LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police report a motorcyclist has died following a crash in Las Vegas.
NSP responded to the crash on the 215 near Jones Boulevard on Feb. 9 around 8:47 p.m.
Officials report a black 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R motorcycle was speeding eastbound on the 215. The driver of a white 2016 Isuzu Street Sweeper was traveling east on the 215 when the driver hit the back of the motorcycle.
The impact caused the motorcyclist to get thrown off.
The rider identified as 18-year-old Dwayne Demetrius Wade, who died on the scene, according to NSP.
NSP reports there have been a total of 9 fatal crashes in 2025 so far.
