LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcycle rider sustained critical injuries following a single-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning.
It was reported near East Serene Avenue and Spencer Street around 11:46 a.m.
According to LVMPD officials, the motorcyclist collided with a light pole in what authorities are describing as a single-vehicle accident. The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
Emergency responders transported the injured rider to a local hospital, where they are being treated for critical injuries.
LVMPD is advising motorists to avoid the area while investigators work to determine the cause of the collision.
