LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Police say one person is in critical condition after colliding with a vehicle.
LVMPD responded to a crash on Sept. 26 at around 1:13 p.m. on South Durango Drive, south of West Warm Springs Road.
According to police, a green Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling south on South Durango Drive at a high rate of speed.
A 2015 Infiniti QX70 was going northbound on South Durango from south of West Warm Springs Road.
Police explained the driver of the Infiniti attempted to turn left into a private area when the front of the motorcycle struck the vehicle on its right side.
The Infiniti was overturned, and the rider was ejected onto the roadway.
Officials reported the rider was taken to University Medical Center’s Trauma Center.
Medical professionals determined the rider to be in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was not impaired, according to police.
LVMPD is investigating the crash.
