LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Motorcyclist was injured on Wednesday night after crashing into a signpost in the southern Las Vegas valley.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the collision occurred on West Hacienda Avenue, west of the intersection with South Decatur Boulevard. A preliminary investigation revealed that a white 2020 Aprilia motorcycle was traveling east on Hacienda, approaching the intersection.
The crash occurred when the rider failed to maintain control of the motorcycle and struck a raised center median. The rider was separated from the bike and hit a street signpost.
The rider was transported by responding emergency medical services to the University Medical Center’s Trauma Center for his injuries.
