LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcyclist was killed and a passenger was critically injured in a crash on State Route 160 Saturday afternoon, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
Nevada Highway Patrol responded to a report of a crash on Saturday, January 31, at 3:31 p.m. at mile marker 15 on southbound State Route 160 in Clark County.
The crash involved both a motorcycle and a pickup truck. One adult male motorcycle rider has been confirmed deceased on scene.
The passenger on the motorcycle has been life flighted by Mercy Air to a local area hospital with injuries sustained in the crash. The driver and passenger in the pickup have not been transported for any injuries in this crash.
State Route 160 southbound at mile marker 15 was closed, but has since reopened.
Police say further information will be provided following the preliminary investigation.
