LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — MountainView Hospital is marking its 30th anniversary by recognizing 10 employees who have remained with the facility since it opened three decades ago, the hospital said.

MountainView Hospital opened with what it described as a small team of caregivers and has since expanded significantly, including growing to about four times its original size, according to a statement from MountainView Hospital.

A hospital spokesperson said the longtime employees reflect the hospital’s focus on continuity of care and workplace retention, noting that it is uncommon for organizations to keep staff for decades.

Health officials said employee experience and stability can support patient care by improving institutional knowledge and strengthening care teams, though staffing pressures remain a challenge for hospitals nationwide.
