LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Nevada Department of Transportation has announced some good news ahead of a busy weekend in Las Vegas.

According to officials the northbound I-15 off ramp to Arena Drive and Frank Sinatra Drive will open early Friday Morning.

The ramp was shutdown in 2022 as crews have been re-imagining the I-15 Tropicana Interchange.

The construction project was estimated to cost $305 million dollars.

Crews on Tuesday kicked off the massive, $305 million Tropicana-Interstate 15 interchange project near the Las Vegas Strip.

NDOT says this opening is timely as Wrestlemania and the start of the Golden Knights playoffs take over the sports venues near that busy interchange.
