Also, they said 1,700 items in their space crisis wish list were purchased. Officials say that’s the most successful amount bought since the past six years.

The Animal Foundation also provided an update on the 39 French Bulldogs that were discovered at a puppy mill in east Las Vegas.

After announcing that it has taken in over 1,000 animals this month, the Animal Foundation received 39 more dogs from one home late Wednesday night.

Officials say Animal Protection Services is still working on the case. As of Monday, the bulldogs are on a legal hold and still not available for adoption or foster.

Henderson Police Department discovered the dogs while exercising a search warrant in the 2000 block of Lincoln Road around 10 p.m. During the search, officers discovered an unrelated “puppy mill,” and alerted Animal Protection Services.
