LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Starting Monday, Southern Nevada residents may hear increased noise in the valley.
Nellis Air Force Base says they are conducting Red Flag exercises from July 22 to Aug. 2. Officials say about 150 aircrafts will depart Nellis twice a day and can remain up in the air for up to five hours.
There will also be night launches. This is so air crews can train for nighttime combat operations.
