LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nevada and California Highway Patrols say there will be “zero tolerance” for violations on I-15 Thanksgiving weekend.

According to a social media post from the Nevada Highway Patrol, Wednesday through Sunday, NHP and California Highway Patrol have joined forces in an effort to keep roads safe. Police said the I-15 corridor at the state line will be a zero-tolerance area for speed, reckless and impaired driving, distracted driving and all other hazardous violations.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says troopers will be enforcing hazardous driving violations between the Nevada-California state line to St. Rose Parkway.

“Please adhere to speed limits and safe driving practices while driving to your holiday destination,” NHP said. “Let’s all be safe going into the holidays.”
