
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — While tourism numbers indicate a year-over-year decline, new gaming revenue data from the Nevada Gaming Control Board says the house is still winning.
For October 2025, the report says the state say a nearly 5% overall increase in revenue, with a total win of $1,350,043,348. This is compared to October 2024, which raked in $1,286,404,175. For the fiscal year, these wins exact to a nearly 3% increase.
The Las Vegas Strip saw a large return with an 8.21% increase in revenue, but the Sparks area up north doubled that at nearly 16.5%. The next-highest return at 12.6% came from the “other” category, which includes gaming establishments that fall outside of Clark, Washoe, and Elko counties, and the South Lake Tahoe area.
The largest loss came from the Boulder Strip, which saw a nearly 9% decrease in revenue.
From the generated revenue, the state collected $83,674,693 in percentage fees during the month, which is a 5% increase from last year.
