
LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The 36th annual Special Session continues into Day 6, and several bills remain on the table.
Lawmakers tell FOX5 many of their colleagues have left Carson City and did not expect to stay this long. However, the senate still has Quorum to proceed.
Here’s where each bill is at:
- Governor’s Crime Bill (AB4) – Still in Senate Committee
- Film Bill (AB5) – Headed to final Senate floor vote
- School Zone Bill (AB6) – Headed to final Senate floor vote
Bills on state-wide cybersecurity (AB1), alcohol delivery (AB2), SNAP funding (SB3), and the Windsor Park relocation (SB6) are headed for Governor Lombardo’s Desk.

10:25 a.m. — Assembly returns to recess. Committees convene. Senate has yet to convene.
10:20 a.m. — Assemblywoman Tracy Brown-May highlights that many assemblymembers are wearing jeans in honor of “Denim Day,” which highlights sexual violence education and prevention. Brown-May says assemblymembers are “still waiting for the release of the Epstein files.”
10:14 a.m. — Assembly convenes with roll call and a prayer. Committee recommends SB8 for approval.
