LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KOLO) – A Las Vegas man is now facing 15 years in prison after being convicted of receiving child pornography.

Leonard Shove was found guilty of one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography after a one-day bench trial.

According to the DOJ, on June 12, 2023, Shove was found to be in possession of a cell phone that contained multiple images and videos of child pornography. Shove was on parole at the time of the offense.

Shove was found to have multiple prior convictions related to possessing and receiving child pornography.

He will be sentenced on Sept. 22 and faces a maximum of 40 years in prison.
