LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police identified 37-year-old Christopher Garrett Kaiser as the victim in a deadly crash Friday morning.
State police responded to the crash just before 4 a.m. near Sunset Road on the off-ramp of l-11 in Henderson.
NSP reported Kaiser was riding a black 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle. He was traveling eastbound on Sunset Road in the left lane as he attempted to enter the northbound off-ramp at a red light. A white 2014 Volkswagen GTI Hatchback was also turning left onto the westbound off-ramp.
The vehicle reportedly headed in the path of the motorcycle. The rider attempted to swerve out of the way but failed to do so. Kaiser collided with the vehicle, which caused him to be ejected.
Police said the Kaiser died on the scene.
NSP says they have investigated 63 fatal crashes that have left 71 people dead in 2024 so far.
Nevada State Police Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
