LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police is sounding off on an imposter scam.
Police said they have received multiple phone calls from community members saying someone is using the Nevada Highway Patrol number impersonating law enforcement.
The scam is requesting personal information.
“We would like to make our community members aware of this scam and prevent any future victims,” Nevada State Police said. “Please do not give out your personal information.”
