LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nevada Supreme Court is upholding the decision to suspend Michele Fiore with pay from her judicial seat in Nye County.
In a unanimous decision Friday, the state’s highest court said that Fiore’s petition to dismiss the suspension was without merit because the investigation into her conduct is ongoing.

The Nevada Commission of Judicial Discipline announced last May that it would suspend Fiore from her seat as Pahrump Justice of the Peace following her conviction on wire fraud charges related to the misuse of funds raised for a fallen officer memorial. A jury found her guilty of those charges in October 2024.
Fiore received a pardon from President Donald Trump in late April 2025, though the commission stated the pardon did not bar them from continuing their investigation into her ongoing conduct.
In July 2025, Fiore was granted a temporary stay of the suspension by the Nevada Supreme Court. The suspension was upheld by the court on Friday.
In January, Fiore announced her bid for re-election for her judicial seat, stating in a social media post, “I have been tested and tried, and I have triumphed. I am excited to be running for re-election and deeply motivated by the continued support of the people I serve.”
Fiore released another statement on her social media Saturday, which read in part, “While we are disappointed the Supremes chose not to address those issues now, this is not the end of the fight, it is simply the next step.”
