LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada Task Force 1 crews are heading to Florida to assist emergency personnel responding to Hurricane Milton.
According to officials, 70 NV-TF1 crew members, including 11 support staff, are en route to Florida.
Currently, 35 NV-TF1 personnel are stationed outside of Jacksonville. Clark County has reported that an additional 35 employees will be flown out this afternoon.
Clark County Fire Department, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, the Boulder City Fire Department, the Henderson Fire Department, and community members have volunteered to serve on the front lines of this storm set to impact Florida.
