LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A new battle of the bands competition is giving Las Vegas musicians a chance to perform on some of The Strip’s most prominent stages while competing for career-building prizes.

The competition is open to unsigned Las Vegas-based musicians and performers ages 18 and over across all genres, as long as the music is original. Band submissions close Sunday, Feb. 22 at 11:59 p.m.
The winning act will receive a $1,000 prize package that includes a recording session provided by The Hideout Recording Studio and a video session provided by CHill Media.

Semi-final showcases featuring 30 finalists will take place at B Side Lounge at House of Blues on Sunday, March 22 and Monday, April 6.
Six finalists will compete in the final showcase on Tuesday, April 28 at Brooklyn Bowl. Each round will be judged by a panel of industry professionals, including members of the local music community, celebrities and influencers.
