LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce Nevada is launching a new program called “Nevada Proud,” designed to help LGBTQ+ and allied small business owners grow and compete for larger contracts.

What the program offers

The chamber said many entrepreneurs struggle with the cost, complexity, and time required to get certified and break into procurement systems — the processes companies and government agencies use to hire vendors.

Nevada Proud will offer targeted training, resources, mentorship, and financial support to help eligible business owners become certified, get procurement ready, and connect with new contract opportunities.
