LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The trial for the two suspects accused of intentionally hitting and killing a cyclist in 2023 has been moved once again.

In a Tuesday hearing, Judge Jacqueline Bluth set the new court date for Jesus Ayala and Jzamir Keys to November 3, 2025.

Ayala and Keys are accused of killing retired California police chief Andreas Probst by hitting him with a vehicle while he was cycling and recording the incident.

Both are facing murder charges related to the incident.

Ayala is also charged with several other felonies, including battery with use of a deadly weapon, attempted murder with use of a deadly weapon, duty to stop at the scene of a crash, leaving the scene of a crash, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of a burglary tool.

Keys was also charged with battery with the use of a deadly weapon and attempted murder with the use of a deadly weapon.

Ayala was recently declared competent for trial on Feb. 28 after a brief hospitalization.

Both are due back in front of a judge for a status check on June 17.
