LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have obtained a new video assisting in the search to find who abused Reba the bulldog.
Reba was left in a tote taped shut and placed in a dumpster near Maryland Parkway and Twain Avenue.
“We have located some additional video that we think will help us try to figure out who the perpetrator of this crime is,” said LVMPD Animal Cruelty Unit Sgt. William Gethoefer.

According to officials, detectives are still collecting tips to assist with the search.
“We’re not quite at an identification phase but there are some links that are falling into place for us at this time.” added Sgt. Gethoefer.
Lead investigators shared that they have contacted businesses in the area for surveillance footage around July 26, when Reba was found.
”We’ve conducted a thorough and exhaustive investigation,” Sgt. Gethoefer explained, “just as the community wants and just as the community deserves.”
Reba was taken to a veterinarian for emergency care and died days later.
Through different donors, Vegas Pet Rescue is offering a $50,000 reward for any information that leads to an arrest in the case.
