LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The NHL Awards will be hosted at a Las Vegas Strip resort, the day before the NHL Draft is slated at the Sphere.
The ceremony will be hosted inside the BleauLive Theater at Fontainebleau Las Vegas and will take place Thursday, June 27 at 4 p.m. PT. The NHL Awards honor the best players in the sport, awarding most valuable player, outstanding goaltender, outstanding defensemen and outstanding rookie.
“The success of our very own Stanley Cup champions, the Vegas Golden Knights, has solidified our city as a top NHL and sports destination, and we are extremely proud to welcome this year’s awards ceremony to Fontainebleau Las Vegas,” Fontainebleau Las Vegas President Maurice Wooden said in a news release. “As the newest luxury resort on the Strip and coming on the heels of our wildly popular NFL, UFC, and college basketball tournament inaugural viewing parties, we can’t wait to bring hockey’s biggest night to Fontainebleau Las Vegas.”
The NHL Awards were hosted in Las Vegas in 2019. Finalists for the awards will be announced in the coming days.
