LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department announced Thursday the arrest of nine suspects believed to be connected to an deadly shooting from last July.

According to the release, seven individuals have been booked into the Clark County Detention Center for open murder with a deadly weapon and other felony charges. Two others are in custody at a Nevada Department of Corrections facility and have been indicted for open murder with a deadly weapon and additional felony charges.

The suspects identified and arrested by police include:

    • arrested September 26, 2025
  • 30-year-old Rickey Allen
    • arrested October 30, 2025
  • 28-year-old Rashid Soukesian
    • arrested November 24, 2025, in Los Angeles
    • extradited to Las Vegas December 7, 2025
  • 27-year-old Johntryae Mitchell
    • arrested January 21, 2026, in Atlantic City
    • extradited to Las Vegas January 31, 2026
  • 38-year-old Calvin Hicks
  • 33-year-old Jamar Holman
  • 28-year-old Kenjuan McDaniel
    • indicted February 27, 2026
  • 29-year-old Darion Headd
    • indicted February 27, 2026

The shooting occurred on July 9, 2025 around 12:38 a.m. in the 6000 block of Coja Street, near Durango Drive and Russell Road, according to LVMPD.

Patrol officers responded and located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside a residence. Medical personnel responded, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

LVMPD Homicide detectives learned the victim was inside a garage when a white Dodge Charger with a black front bumper drove through the neighborhood multiple times. At some point several subjects exited the vehicle and a shooting occurred. The suspects fled prior to police arriving.
