LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The Vegas Thrill is inviting their fans to two themed nights beginning Sunday and through the rest of the season.
Volleyball fans can purchase tickets for “Ninth Island Night.” Officials with the team say this is a special Hawaiian-inspired evening. Second, fans could attend “Girl Dad Night.”
The Hawaiian-themed event is planned for March 24 at 4 p.m. against San Diego Mojo. However, events start at 2 p.m.
“The event celebrates the strong ties between Las Vegas and Hawaiian culture, known as the “Ninth Island” due to its significant Hawaiian population,” the team says. “Before the game against San Diego Mojo, a Te Nati Haka performance featuring 28 men will take place. During intermission, dancers from the Pupu ‘Ori Te Nati dance school will entertain the crowd with Tahitian and hula performances.”
“Girl Dad Night” is planned for Tuesday, March 26 at 7 p.m. against Grand Rapids Rise.
“The first 500 attendees through the door will receive a complimentary friendship bracelet, adding a touch of camaraderie and unity to the evening,” the team says. “Additionally, daughters will receive free admission with the purchase of their dad’s ticket, encouraging families to come together and enjoy a memorable night out.”
