LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A fire broke out at a home in Summerlin early Friday morning.
According to Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, a person nearby called in around 12:30 a.m. to report the house fire near Village Center Circle and Hills Drive. When crews arrived, they found flames were “already coming through the roof.”
Firefighters confirmed with the homeowner that no one was inside at the time.
The first fire unit arrived six minutes after their assignment, a LVFR spokesperson said in a news release. The crews then began a defensive strategy
No injuries have been reported at this time, fire officials said.
FOX5 is on scene. As of 6 a.m., the fire was still smoldering.
