LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Metro police were involved in a shooting in North Las Vegas Sunday night.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a drive-by shooting was reported in the 5100 block of Hickam Avenue.
While they were in the area, they followed a few suspicious cars. It turned into a shootout between the suspects and cops near the intersection of Lone Mountain Road and Scott Robinson Boulevard.
The suspects briefly got away, but they were found with injuries. Some serious, some not. Both were taken to the hospital, police said. It’s unclear if those injuries were due to gunshot wounds.
No officers were injured during the shooting, Metro said.
