Non-profit to offer mobile medical services to teachers

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Teachers Health Trust is on a mission to ensure educators receive access to health care.

According to a press release, Dec. 16 through Dec. 18, health services will be offered across the valley through a mobile event – “Medicine on the Move”.

Teachers Health Trust members will have the opportunity to get an annual wellness exam, mammograms, and basic lab or immunizations.

“Wellness exams and mammograms are critically important diagnostic tools to aid in early detection of health concerns, such as high blood pressure and breast cancer,” said Tom Zumtobel, CEO of the TeachersHealthTrust. “We are proud to be able to bring these mobile events directly to educators at Southern Nevada schools.

Where you can find Medicine on the Move:

Tuesday, Dec. 16 – Sunrise Mountain High School from noon to 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 17 – Centennial High School from noon to 7 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 18 – Liberty High School from noon to 7 p.m.
