LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The city of North Las Vegas is partnering with the Southern Nevada Drowning Prevention Coalition for “April Pool’s Day.”
The event is happening Wednesday, April 1, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Silver Mesa Pool on Allen Lane.

The North Las Vegas Fire Department will stage mock drowning scenarios starting at 9 a.m., showing how quickly an emergency can happen and sharing safety advice for families.
The city will also offer swim lessons all summer at Silver Mesa Pool and the Skyview Multi-Generational Center.
