NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — North Las Vegas police have arrested a 35-year-old man in connection with a deadly weekend shooting.
Jesse Robinson III was taken into custody and booked at the North Las Vegas Community Correctional Center on a charge of open murder with a deadly weapon.
According to NLVPD, officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of Camino Al Norte at approximately 12:36 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, in reference to a shooting. Arriving officers located an adult male suffering from gunshot wounds. Medical personnel transported the victim to University Medical Center.
Police say the suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.
On Feb. 25, 2026, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. NLVPD detectives and crime scene investigators responded and initiated an investigation following the shooting.
