NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The North Las Vegas Police Department has launched its latest targeted speed enforcement campaign for March.
The campaign will run from March 13 through March 29, and focus on identifying and addressing speeding violations to reduce crashes and improve roadway safety.
Throughout the enforcement period, NLVPD officers will conduct high-visibility patrols and targeted traffic enforcement operations focused on speeding drivers. Officers will also work to educate drivers about the dangers of speeding and other hazardous driving behaviors.

NLVPD is also collaborating with regional partners through the Southern Nevada Traffic Task Force, a multi-agency initiative formed to address dangerous driving behaviors throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
The Joining Forces campaign is supported by a grant from the Nevada Office of Traffic Safety and is part of Nevada’s Zero Fatalities initiative, a statewide effort to eliminate traffic-related deaths on Nevada roadways.
