LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Ode Osbourne is set for a historic evening in pay-per-views history of the company with UFC 306 at the Sphere.

Vegas is home to the Jamaican sensation as many in the valley call him.

“It feels like another day in the office. This is going to be my tenth fight, I’m pretty used to this, but this one is different only because it’s UFC Noche at the Sphere and the whole inside is a giant screen, so I’m not sure what to expect, I don’t think anyone is sure what to expect. I’m just excited and grateful and blessed that God has given me this opportunity and when I fought on my first PPV McGregor v Cerrone and lost, I thought I’d never get back here, but here I am ten fights later and another opportunity, so I’m blessed man, coming from Kingston Jamaica to fighting at the Sphere.” Said Osbourne.

The UFC fighter has worked closely with community organization to help with outreach initiatives.

“I think it’s really big and important because a lot of the stuff we do for the community outreach is involving kids and I think with kids they don’t understand how many opportunities there are in Las Vegas, seeing somebody in this position, acquiring these opportunities for those kids is huge, you know what I’m saying?.” shared Osbourne.

Osbourne shared what he is expecting out of Saturday’s fight against Ronaldo Rodriguez

“The only thing that is on my mind right now is going in and getting the job done and getting the job done in a spectacular manner, I know good and well it’s Mexican Independence , so it’s not really for me, but I’m hoping to disappoint a lot of independence.. I’m going into enemy territory, I’m probably getting booed in my own house, which is crazy in my own house.” Osbourne explained.
