LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas police officer is recovering after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.
Metro tells FOX5 the crash happened around 2:00 a.m. at Frank Sinatra Drive and Reno Avenue, about a block away from the Las Vegas Strip. The scene was located near the Luxor and Excalibur parking lot.
The officer was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries. He is stable, according to police.
Metro said it would release additional information at a later time.
