LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Esmeralda County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who disappeared nearly two weeks ago.

According to the sheriff’s office, Donald Taylor’s friends reported that they have not talked to him since August 28.

“A deputy was dispatched to search for Taylor within two hours of the initial call and several areas were checked throughout the following days,” the news release said.

The sheriff released a picture of Taylor and a possible vehicle he could be driving in. The vehicle is described as a silver Ford super duty pickup truck.

Taylor’s friends then reported him missing on September 7, 2025. That’s when the Nevada National Guard stepped in to assist with an air search. Deputies said they have confirmed that Taylor was at the Esmeralda Market on the morning of August 29.

“The Sheriff’s Office has continued searching daily for Taylor, but has been unsuccessful in finding him,” the release added.
