LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A deadly crash has shut down all southbound lanes of the I-15 in northeastern Clark County Thursday morning.
The crash happened just after 6:45 a.m., about 11 miles south of Mesquite at mile marker 106.
Traffic is being turned back around to Mesquite. A public information officer (PIO) said traffic is being diverted off the I-15 onto the exit 112 off-ramp.
The crash involved a sedan and a commercial semi truck. One passenger in the sedan died on the scene, and another man in the same car was transferred to the hospital in a helicopter, PIO Shawn Haggstrom said. His injuries are “unknown” at this time.
Additional information will be provided “following the preliminary investigation,” he said.
