LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One man is dead and another is injured after an altercation led to a shooting inside an east valley home Tuesday morning.
Around 12:05 a.m., Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received reports of gunshots from residents of an apartment complex in the 3900 block of Mountain Vista Street. Arriving officers located two men suffering from gunshot wounds and immediately transported them to a nearby hospital.
One of the men would later die from his injuries, while the other’s condition is unknown.
Police say there was some kind of domestic dispute before the shooting, and that multiple people were inside the residence at the time of the shooting.
Police added that they believe the incident is isolated and poses no threat to the public.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
