LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man is dead and a woman is injured after a fight turned into a deadly shooting in the north valley on Sunday.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department arrived in the 1900 block of D Street around 1:12 p.m. after receiving reports of the shooting. A man and woman were located inside a residence, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where the man would later die. The extent of the woman’s injuries was not immediately available.
An initial investigation revealed that the victims were involved in an argument that turned physical. Police say another man inside the residence intervened and fired at the two victims, striking them both.
The suspect then fled the area.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
