LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — An adult man was hospitalized Tuesday morning after a house fire broke out at a west Las Vegas home.
Crews responded to the heavily damaged a single-story home, located at the 300 View Drive, near Jones and Alta, at around 7:20 a.m.

According to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, multiple 911 callers reported that the residence was fully engulfed in flames, prompting a response. The first fire unit arrived on scene approximately four minutes after being dispatched.

Firefighters initiated an aggressive interior attack while conducting a search of the home and rescued one adult male from inside the residence. Crews continued working to contain and extinguish the blaze, and a primary all-clear was declared at 7:34 a.m.
The man who was rescued was treated at the scene and then transported to UMC Trauma for smoke inhalation.
The American Red Cross was contacted to assist two displaced adults. NV Energy and Southwest Gas also responded to the scene to secure utilities.
