Around 7:33 a.m., firefighters with the Clark County Fire Department responded to the 4700 block of Fuentes Way, near Desert Inn and Nellis.

The first engine arrived and observed flames coming through the building, but could not enter due to the instability of the structure. However, once conditions improved, teams entered to extinguish the flames and conduct a search.

1 person was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.

Firefighters estimate damages to be around $100,000.
