LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person was shot, and a suspect has not yet been found in a Monday morning shooting.

According to police, the incident happened just before 9 a.m. near North Tee Pee Lane and Grand Teton Drive in northwest Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials said a person was shot and taken to an area hospital. No information was immediately available regarding the severity of that person’s injuries.

Law enforcement officials said investigators believe the shooting was linked to road rage but did not provide any additional details.

Investigators said a suspect in the shooting is outstanding and that the investigation is ongoing. The public is asked to avoid the area.
