LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The former owner of a motel that was the site of one of the deadliest apartment fires in Las Vegas history will spend one and a half to four years in prison.
Back in January, Adolfo Garcia pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges for the deadly fire at the Alpine Motel in downtown Las Vegas back in 2019.

Six people died as a result of that fire.
The fire sparked from a stove top because a tenant at the extended-stay motel didn’t have heat.
A judge had previously approved a civil lawsuit.
